Zardari summons party meeting tonight
ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has summoned a meeting of leaders of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) in the President House on Tuesday night, DawnNews reported.
The meeting would discuss the country’s overall political situation with special focus on the NRO implementation case being heard in the Supreme Court, sources said.
The meeting is also expected to discuss the strategies of negotiation with opposition parties over the upcoming general elections, sources added.
The meeting would be attended by Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Naveed Qamar, Jehangir Badar, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Khursheed Shah, Manzoor Watoor, Nazar Muhammad Gondal, Rehman Malik and other party leaders.
