Summons issued for ‘Sharif brothers’ over NAB’s plea

ISLAMABAD: An accountability court in Rawalpindi on Wednesday summoned records from the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) over three alleged corruption references against the ‘Sharif bothers’, DawnNews reported.
The court also issued summon-notices to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders Shahbaz Sharif and Nawaz Sharif for July 28.
The petition to open corruption references against the Sharif brothers was filed by the Chairman NAB Fasih Bukhari in the court of administrative judge Chaudhry Abdul Razzaq.
The three references, under consideration, include the alleged corruption cases of Hudaibia paper mills, Ittefaq Foundry and Raiwind farm.

Just a political ploy, nothing will come out of it even if the allegations are correct. This is what these two big political parties have done to each other. Musharraf tried to put a stop and start fresh but our supreme court wouldn't have it. So the saga continues. The next gov't will also use this same ploy to blackmail their opponents. Welcome to democracy at its best! No wonder the average pakistani wants marshall law imposed. Seeing this circus for the last 4 years I am not sure if that wouldn't be better.
Why NAB was sleeping over the cases of Sharif brothers for four long years? Waiting for Zardari’s nod for annulment of friendly opposition’s role.
where will all this stop? Musharraf made an effort to stop all this but it seems it only stops when they are all dead!
About time. All corrupt should be exposed. They are all in the same boat. I am sure at the end of the day these individuals will be equal in corruption to zardari and his clan
The feudals are under challenge. Even the Sharif Bros are coming under the microscope. Watch out for alliance between, PPP, the PMLs(all factions) joining hands with the mullahs and the military to oust the Judiciary.
Here we go again – a new drama, a new story with same old cast team – where will all this stop, perhaps never but may pause until next elections. It may sound strange that the nation which needs peace, food, education, health and many other basics would not be bothered with these stories but they thrive on them instead. Real sorry state.
Uzair you are 100% right. In fact i am pretty sure that all these cronies are from the same bandwagon, especially once it comes to plundering the national wealth they all are one for all and all for one. They are cunningly intelligent, they have decided to keep the judiciary engaged in non legislative activities intentionally so as it remains bogged down with corruption cases. May God protect my country from thugs. Better aware masses, transparent elections and sincere leadership is the need of the hour. Otherwise i see a big question mark on the integrity of this great nation. I pray that i shall be proven wrong ! Aameen.
Take action, we all know that the two brothers are no angels.
They should pay back the money they owe, and they should bring the money back from abroad that they say.
belongs to their childrens, where did the children got the money from.
Do these people think that all Pakistani are fool, may be. But we Pakistani abroad knows better, we are no fools.
Thanks again to the Pakistan Supreme court for taking drastic and sweep action against the corrupt leaders and the organizations. No one can eliminate or uproot corruptions in Pakistan besides the Judiciary. Wish their successful work will continue to purge out all the corrupt and munafiq so-called political leaders from their arena.
let the law take its own course.
