TIMERGARA, July 18: The Adenzai Peace Jirga on Wednesday demanded of the authorities to register FIR in the other night’s firing incident wherein a brother and gunman of a former provincial minister were injured by security forces.

At the end, the jirga demanded of police high-ups to immediately register FIR against the security personnel, probe the recent incidents of thefts and robberies in the area and bring the culprits to book.

The participants said that theft cases were on the rise in some parts of Adenzai. They said that people of the area were guarding their houses at nights.

The jirga members said that night raids by security forces in the prevailing circumstances were spreading confusion.
