LONDON, July 25: American tennis twins Bob and Mike Bryan were left out in the Olympic Games cold on Tuesday after they were caught up in an accreditation blunder.

The Bryans were refused access to the sprawling media and television complex in Olympic Park in east London after they forgot to validate their credentials.

“They had a problem with non-validation so they had to return to the welcome centre,” said US tennis chief Tim Curry.

Bob and Mike Bryan, 34, the world number three doubles team, had been due to attend a news conference with team-mates including Serena and Venus Williams, as well as Andy Roddick, after flying in from the US.—AFP
