KARACHI, July 28: In an effort to fulfil needs of the relatives of passengers who died in an air crash in Margallah Hills in 2010, Airblue has assigned one employee to each of the affected families, according to the airline.
In a statement, the commercial director of Airblue, Raheel Ahmed, said the staff had been assisting the affected families and would continue to do so in future as well.
Mr Ahmed said the airline had ensured that its investigations into the air crash were completed in record time and also that the probe report was made public. The Airblue fully supported and assisted the efforts made in parliament to pass the legislation increasing the compensation payable for air accidents to Rs5 million, the statement added.
