ATTOCK, July 28: Another man drowned in the Ghazi Barotha Hydropower Project channel on Friday. This was the sixth drowning incident in a week, local residents said.

Zulfiqar Ali, of Saleem Khan village, was taking bath in the water when he was swept away.

It may be noted that a large number of people, particularly youngsters, are visiting the Indus River and the power channel to get some respite from the current heatwave.—Correspondent
