LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Tuesday directed the Young Doctors Association’s that instead of protest they should resolve their problems in the court, DawnNews reported.

The hearing of YDA’s strike in LHC was headed by Justice Justice Ijazul Ahsan.

The applicant told the court that despite the court’s order, YDA are still on a strike which is contempt of court.

The YDA’s lawyer stated that they have been protesting peacefully for their demands, which is their constitutional right.

The Punjab government’s lawyer said that the accused the young doctor is not cooperating on child-murder case, which is why the investigation stands incomplete.

Moreover, the court ordered the accused doctors to cooperate so that the investigation can be completed soon and facts are made public.

Furthermore, the court has issued a notice to the general and teaching cadre doctors to become a party in the case.

The hearing has been adjourned until September 1.
