Every large not for profit company does this, they create an Investment company oversees and invest their money their rather than keeping it in the the bank at zero percent return. Most of the times the investments are conservative, I assume Imran Khan used a company based in Dubai and with recent collapse of the Dubai Real Estate market he lost a lot of money.

Sometimes Real Estate investments don't provide a good return, but if you hold them for a while they will bounce back. It is shameless to malign the name of the best charity (Khanum Hospital and Research Center) in Pakistan. It took years for Imran Khan to create this facility. He had to tour the whole world to collect donations, while Sharif's and others were busy in corruption and other crimes. This is the best-run institution in Pakistan at this time. I am sure this kind of criticism of Imran Khan is going to back-fire.

As a donar to Shaukat Khanum Hospital I am deeply hurt by the accusation of PMLN leader on Imran Khan and SKMH.These people do not know how institutions are run and what are endoment funds for.All good institutions in the world have indowment funds.To say that Zakat and Fitra money from Pakistan was transfered in to this account is totally baseless.Khawaja Asif had no documents to proof except a copy of balance sheet from SKMH website.PML vote bank in Punjab will be badly eroded after this baseless press conference.More people will now give money to SKMH.The falling credibility of PML N leaders has now gone to zero.
