KARACHI, Aug 1: Two persons were found shot dead in different parts of the city on Wednesday morning, said police.

They said the body of a young man stuffed in a gunny bag was found on Jahangir Road. The body bore serious torture marks and a gunshot wound in the head, they added.

It seemed that the victim was kidnapped and killed somewhere else and his body was dumped at a deserted place, said an official at the Jamshed Quarters police station.

The police shifted the body to the Civil Hospital Karachi where the victim was identified as 32-year-old Shoaib, son of Haroon.

SDPO Qaiser Ali Shah said that the victim was a resident of Ranchhore Lane and used to work at the canteen of a private university.

Following the medico-legal formalities, the body was handed over to the victim’s family.

In Lasi Goth, a woman was found shot dead inside her house in mysterious circumstances within the remit of the Sohrab Goth police station, said police.

They added that the body of Razia, 45, wife of Akram, was found inside her house.
