My sweet doll

I love my doll,
Sweet and cuddly,
I play with her all day,
I have fun with her all day!

My brother

My brother is nice,
But he is scared of mice,
He takes bath twice,
And always wins the first prize,
He is full of joy,
He is a wonderful boy.

Care

Children must learn to care,
A habit that is very rare,
Rightly you must learn to use it,
In no state should you lose it,
This thought, with everyone,
You should share,
That we must learn to care!

My seven years

When I was one,
I had so much fun,
When I was two,
I loved to watch Pooh,
When I was three,
I set my parrot free,
When I was four,
Studying made me feel bored,
When I was five,
I injured my hand with a knife,
When I was six,
I began to play cricket,
Now I am seven,
I have my best friend Kevin.

Load shedding

Load shedding, load shedding,
Everybody is fed up of load shedding!

Lights are off!

Fans are off!

AC is off!

Oven is off!

Life has come to a halt!

I can’t study in the dark.

Back to school

School is here,
Now fun is rare,
Studying is back,
Get your books off the rack,
Going back to school,
It’s difficult to get back in routine,
And bother your sleep
With school in between!

Get your bags,
Brand new with their tags,
Get your stationary,
And lunch boxes,
From in and around the pantry,
So, get ready for school
With all your tools!

My sister

I have a sister,
Her name is Angelina,
She is like an angel,
She has long hair,
I take care of her,
She likes to play with Barbie,
And likes to attend her friend’s calls,
Her favourite colour is blue,
She always speaks the truth,
She is six years old,
And not so bold!

My new school

My new school is nice,
The canteen there doesn’t serve rice,
I love my new school,
It would have been perfect,
If it had a pool;
Nevertheless my school is very cool!

Mountain side

There’s a man on the mountain side,
Camping with its pet Tweely;
Green and brown are mountain grounds,
Not too easy to camp around,
But if you see the waterfall,
Not too cold, not too hot,
It’s nice camping here,
My journey has started here,
I can see the world,
It’s very nice,
I can see flowers and trees.

When I came back to town,
Thinking of the camping ground,
Green and brown,
Until it’s morning light,
I loved camping on the mountain side.
