KARACHI, Aug 6: Dollar East outclassed Mulaqatiyar CC by a handsome margin of eight wickets to ease into the quarter-finals of the Aga Khan Gymkhana Ramazan Trophy Silver Jubilee cricket tournament here at the AKG Ground here on Monday.

Mulaqatiyar CC, batting first, made 148-6 in their 20 overs with opener Fazal Subhan the top-scorer with a 24-ball 44 (four fours and two sixes).

Dollar East then easily knocked off the required runs in 17.5 overs through the excellent bating of opener Shahzar Mohammad (57 off 44 balls, eight boundaries) and Shahzad Malik (46 off 37, five fours) adding 93 for the unbroken third-wicket.

Dollar East’s third win enabled them to finish on top of Group ‘B’ with Medicam CC joining them in the last-eight round as the runners-up from this pool. KESC and hosts Aga Khan Gymkhana have qualified for the knockout phase from Group ‘C’
