Reporting Myanmar persecution

I WOULD like to highlight the killings of Muslims in Myanmar and the images manipulated by the social media. Nowadays people are posting images with captions like killings in Myanmar etc.

People are unable to judge the Myanmar situation just by looking at photo slides as a few images on the Internet are representing different incidents in the world. How much is the reality and fact in it, the vibrant electronic media around the world is silent and not updating its status.

According to the news, recently more than 20,000 Muslims in Myanmar have been killed. When it is about any terrorism, the media around the world is united and pays full coverage in spite the fact that what the reality is. And when it is about Muslims’ massacre, it seems that all media is silent.

I hope the authorities concerned would explain the actual happenings.

Who told you all about this ? We are almost living there and the reports mentioned in in the blog are correct. Do you know how did that all start? Two Non-Muslim girls accepted Islam. And when they refused to revert after being forced a lot, their relatives killed them and put blame on Muslims. This is how it started dear. Keep your eyes and ears open dear.

Dear Karachi, In fact. I do not know which news source you rely on. the 20,000 killing is total false. Official is total 77 people including Rakhine and Bengali (so called Rohingya). This is not religious violence. It is merely communal violence between native Rakhine people and illegal settlers Rohingya.

I recommended British Special Armed Services get down on the ground in Myanmar and take a look around. Then give an evaluation. Burma was a British colony. Myanmar does not permit access to reporters or NGOs. The president of Bangladesh has refused food aid to the refugee camps of the Rohingyas. These people are not farmers, they are landless refugees on what once was their land. Rohingas are the tennis ball being hit back and forth across the net by the Myranmar Army and the Bangladesh Army. It is possible for some to hide and survive in the jungle. Hopefully China might show them some mercy. Believe what you hear.

Burmese Government controlled by Buddhists has been at war with its various tribes, including Christians for well over fifty three years. Burma is the Yugoslavia of Asia;i.e., no easy solutions are in sight.

Thanks for letting us know the facts on the ground. I cann't stop wondering, if two muslim girls (or boys) in Pakistan were to convert to any other religion, what would happen? Just a question?! Hope someone with facts on the ground would like to reply. I am an optimist.
