ISLAMABAD: The Opposition Leader in the National Assembly and Pakistan Muslim league-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Thursday alleged Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan of evading taxes once again, DawnNews reported.
Speaking at a press conference, the PML-N leader adviced Khan not to hide behind his charity hospital, Shaukat Khanam Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, and openly answer the questions regarding taxes.
Nisar, by hurling another set of allegations at the PTI chief, questioned how a person who evaded tax all his life can talk of ending corruption within 90 days?
He alleged that the PTI chief was not a man of his words. “Imran Khan thinks he is brave….but actually….he ran away after challenging the PML-N,” said Nisar.
The PM-N leader said that Imran Khan and Interior Minister Rehman Malik share a common ‘agenda.’ “Why can’t Imran Khan see corruption of President Asif Ali Zardari,” he added.
He said the eleven allegations leveled by Khan against the PML-N chief Nawaz Shraif are the same that had been “fabricated by Rehman Malik.”
Pointing at the cricketer-turned politician, the PML-N stalwart said that anger will not make anyone a prominent leader. All political parties should work towards resolving problems being face by the country, he added.
