PESHAWAR, Aug 14: The Peshawar High Court has ordered postings and transfers of 19 judicial officers, including district and sessions judges and civil judges.

According to an order released by PHC registrar Subhan Sher, the district and sessions judge (DSJ) Mohammad Yaqoob Khattak, who was an officer on special duty (OSD) at the high court, has been transferred and posted as DSJ at Tank.

Another DSJ Khalil Khan Khalil has been posted at Karak on his reinstatement. Two DSJs, Syed Rafiq Hussain Shah and Ms Farah Jamshed, have been transferred from Mansehra and Karak, respectively, to the high court as officers on special duty.

On repatriation from provincial government, a DSJ Mohammad Younas, has been posted at Mansehra, whereas another DSJ Mohammad Asim Imam, presently OSD at high court, has been relieved to join his new assignment as judge anti-terrorism court, Kohat.

On promotion from additional district and sessions judges to DSJs, Mohammad Rauf Khan, Aurangzeb Khattak and Mohammad Aamir Nazir, have been transferred from Bannu, Abbottabad and Charsadda to Dera Ismail Khan, Upper Dir and PHC as in-charge, National Judicial Policy Implementation Committee (NJPIC), respectively. Furthermore, a DSJ Mohammad Farhatullah Khan has been transferred as in-charge NJPIC and posted as additional registrar (administration) at the high court.Two additional district and sessions judges, Abdul Ghafoor Qureshi and Mohammad Asif Khan, serving at Nowshera and Swat, have been relieved to join as judges of anti-terrorism court at Matta (Swat) and Swat, respectively. A female ADSJ Riffat Aamir, serving as legal draftswoman at PHC, has been posted as additional member inspection team at PHC.

The transferred civil judges include: Tayyab Ali and Rehmatullah, from Upper Dir to PHC as officers on special duty; Mohammad Sher Ali from Alpuri (Shangla) to Upper Dir; Mohammad Zahoor from Booni (Chitral) to Lower Dir; and Abdul Hassan Mohmand from Bisham (Shangla) to Alpuri (Shangla).—Bureau Report
