KARACHI, Aug 15: Pugilists from Karachi South scooped four gold medals to win the Independence Day boxing tournament which concluded at Peoples Sports Complex the other day.

Karachi West finished runners-up with a tally of two golds.

Final results: Youth class (under-18):

49 kg: Fahad Gul bt Mohammad Yaseen 3-0.

52 kg: Badshah Khan bt Adil 3-0.

56 kg: Abdul Sattar bt Shahid Patni 2-1.

60 kg: Danish bt Amjad 2-1.

64 kg: Khalil bt Noorullah (RSC second round).

69 kg: Abdul Salam bt Sher Ali 3-0.—Sports Correspondent
