President Zardari meets with ANP, MQM leaders

KARACHI: President Asif Ali Zardari on Monday met with leaders of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and the Awami National Party (ANP), DawnNews reported.

MQM Coordination Committee’s Deputy Convener and federal minister Dr Farooq Sattar, ANP Sindh’s president Shahi Syed, provincial ministers Ameer Nawaz and Rafiq Engineer met with President Zardari.

Federal minister Dr Asim Hussain was also present during the meeting.

The meeting discussed the country’s overall political situation with special focus on the matter of law and order in Karachi.

    Only if there was Equal Economic opportunities for ALL in Karachi these Criminals would vanish in Seconds.

    Just bring back HONEST ECONOMIC activity back to Karachi and see the Miracles happen.

  2. and whats the outcome of the meeting? My wild guess is "Nothing". Will it bring peace in Karachi. My wild guess is "No". These meetings remind me of the phrase "look busy do nothing"

  3. The criminals in Karachi out number the police, and how many police are helping them or warning them?
    It is easy to have people killed at bargain prices in that city.
