KARACHI: Four people, including a woman, were reported killed in incidents of violence across Karachi, DawnNews reported on Wednesday.

One body was found near the city’s old airport. It was reported to be of a 20-year-old girl and bore torture marks.

Another body was found in a gunny bag in a landfill site near the Risala police station. The body bore torture marks and the victim had been shot dead.

A third body bearing torture marks was found near the city’s Old Sabzi Mandi.

However, the bodies, found near Risala police station and the Old Sabzi Mandi could not be identified.

In a separate incident, unknown attackers shot and killed one person standing outside his house in North Karachi’s Sector 4. The man had been shot in the head and had died on the spot.

In another incident that took place in Lyari’s Musa Lane neighbourhood, five people, including a woman, were injured when unknown assailants opened fire during the urs at the tomb of Baba Hussein Shah. The injured were shifted to Civil Hospital, Karachi.

Moreover, a labourer, who had been injured during the April 4 attack on SSP Malir Rao Anwer’s car near Malir Halt, succumbed to his injuries after fighting for his life for four months.
