COMMENTS

  1. We must protest this great injustice. Now is the time to sign a petition to bring back Afridi and Shoaib Akhtar to the U-19 team. Every one knows that they are both 16 years old, and they will stay 16 till the next world cup.

  2. Clearly a case of selection bias – in a country with such tremendous talent this is unacceptable. All of the players who did not perform should be dumped and should never be selected in any team again. Also all individuals who selected this team should be discarded too.

  3. Cricket is higly professional game with lot of prize money. Selection should be on pure merit. I can tell for sure that Pakistani have lot of talents and we can beat any team with no problem but if selection is done properly. Also we should have better policy by organizing tournamaent on schools levels regional levels, distric level and city levels, state level and than picking the best from each tournament.

  4. This is an eye opener. What a performance.

  5. Good job Bangladesh, you are doing great. And Pakistani team should not be disappointed, they lost to better team.Work hard.

  6. i am unable to digest it..the fact that we entered the tournament as hot favorite after thrashing Aussies and were unbeaten before Quarter finals….Anyways Better luck next time

  7. Well done boys. You made us proud. Thanks Sabih and haroon for wonderful job!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  8. Worst show put up by U19. Its all due to losing to India.

  9. I don’t know what went wrong to them after the India-Pakistan match. I was expecting the Asia Cup joint-winners to put up a better show than this!

  10. Sabih Azhar should be made coach of men ‘s team if that job is not available he can be appointed Hocky coach…it seems we love losers and now all he needs a medal for his great contribution achieving the worst result of any U19 team in the history.

  11. Surely, one cant blame Pakistan for losing this game. There was no incentive to win a contest for 7th place.

  12. pakistani youngsters atleast tried their best to compete at this level.hope they do better in future games.

  13. I do not know why I was so hopeful of young cricketers and so disappointed with their performance.
