REGARDLESS of further details about Rimsha’s case and her alleged involvement in blasphemy, it is much more important to provide her security in jail.
While producing her in open courts a mishap may occur. The government should provide her foolproof security. After her 14-day remand period, she should not be produced in open courts.
Her case should be heard in jail premises. The local magistrate’s attention, as well as his order, is needed.

A matter that is true.
Yet usually the "foolproof security" that the government provides is already infiltrated and usually it is usually through some hand of the government that such victims of bigotry are executed. Salman Taseer being a perfect example.

Blasphemy case
Blasphemy Laws are vague and imprecise.and do not clearly define the crime, therefore, these are open to abuse and exploitation by any mischievous religious person. In almost all cases in Pakistan, the Blasphemy laws have been abused for personal vendetta and to settle interpersonal and religious disputes & business interests. Because of the mob passions involved, courts and administration openly indulge in injustices and repression making the innocent victims and their families suffer. Before the emergence of these fascist religious laws, there were almost no incidences of Blasphemy, now there are hundreds every year.... It is necessary for the Govt to look into the recommendation contained in the Judicial judgements of these cases and :
1. Temporarily stop the implementations of the Blasphemy laws and form a judicial commission to look into the matter
2. In cases where the accusations are not proved, the witnesses and the accusers should be automatically persecuted with the sentences equivalent to the sentences for the crime accused..

Most younger minorities must be cursing their forfathers for settling in trouble Pakistan and making their life miserable. They are not wrong and not were their forfathers who had no knowledge that their younger generation would suffer in today's ;Pakistan.

I agree that these measures are needed and hope some in the 'position' to do so will look into this matter urgently.
The sad thing is that the need for these measures points to the level of intolerance which is rampant in Pakistani society. This law needs reformation urgently. However it is not just the law, it is the intolernace and ignorance seeped deeply in our society which needs changing .... again brings such a feeling of desolation as it seems impossible to achieve. Praying for this unfortunate young girl who is suffering not because she has Down Syndrome, but is suffering because of narrow mindedness, illiteracy and hypocrisy of the society.

Fanatic people will certainly try to victimise her like they did to Salman Taseer. If a Governor of Punjab is not safe how can a poor girl can be safe. She needs protection.
