KARACHI, Aug 30: Landhi Friends scored a crushing 137-run victory over Bilal Friends CC in to qualify for the final of the NBP-KCCA Zone-V Inter-club cricket tournament at the Landhi Gymkhana Ground here on Wednesday.

Batting first, Landhi Friends were all out for 256 in 45 overs with Fahad Akbar (51 off 54 balls with three fours and two sixes) and Shahid Ali (48, four boundaries) the main run-getters.

Bilal Friends CC, in their turn, were bundled out for 119 in the 33rd over with Moazzam Malik scoring 37.

Shahid Ali followed his fine batting by grabbing three wickets for 23 runs with his off-spinners.
