LAHORE, Aug 31: Shahzad Ali Khan was elected unopposed on Thursday as chairman of the All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (Aptma-Punjab) as the Gohar Ejaz group secured all seats of the provincial managing committee, according to the unofficial results of the association.

Mahmood Ihsan was elected senior vice-chairman, S.M Imran vice-chairman and Abdul Rahim Nasir treasurer.

The elected members of the regional managing committee are: Muhammad Haseeb, Irtaza Ahmad, Umar Shafi, Khwaja Muhammad Aman, Husain Ahmad Fazal, Anees Muhammad Khwaja, Salamat Ali, Shargeel Khalid and Habib Anwar.The newly-elected committee will be inducted into office on Sept 30.
