RAWALPINDI, Aug 31: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) lawmaker, Hanif Abbasi on Friday visited the Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) to record his statement in ephedrine case.

ANF spokesman Col (retired) Akhtar Abbas, however, told Dawn that since Mr Abbasi was not invited to the office, no member of investigation team was present to record his statement.

He said the ANF would definitely record his statement but after summoning him at appropriate time.

Hanif Abbasi, after his return from the ANF office, told the mediapersons that he had recorded his statement in the case.

He alleged that the ANF was victimising him in the ephedrine case and said that the hostile attitude of the force would lead to unemployment of hundred of workers of pharmaceutical companies.
