RAWALPINDI: Lahore High Court (LHC) Rawalpindi bench on Wednesday granted bail to the arrested accused, Ehsanur Rehman and Hashim Khan in the Ephedrine quota case, DawnNews reported.

The court adjourned the hearing till September 6th over the bail pleas of the other accused persons, former director general health Asad Hafeez and Sheikh Ansar.

Earlier on Monday the court passed an order dismissing the bail applications of two high-profile accused in the Ephedrine quota scam case, MNA Musa Gilani and Federal Textile AMinister Makhdoom Shahabuddin, enabling the Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) to arrest them.
