Karachi violence claims six lives

KARACHI: Karachi once again witnessed deteriorating law and order situation as targeted killings continued in which eight people lost their lives on Wednesday, DawnNews reported.

As a result of firing, two policemen were killed in the city's North Karachi area.

In another incident of firing, a father and son were killed in the Ittihad Town area of Karachi’s Baldia Town.

A man’s dead body was found from the Defence graveyard whereas another body bearing marks of torture was found from Lyari’s Khadda Market.

An unknown person opened fire in the city's Napier area, killing one person.

One person was also killed in the city's New Karachi area due to firing.

At least three people were injured in the areas of Landhi, Moach Goth, and Jahangir Road respectively.

Really?? This is how you give news of sectarian and racial violence in a once glorious city? Facebook & friends did a faster job at reporting the murder of our relatives than you did. Shame on the media for covering up our horrible Government's failure as humans 1st & and leaders 2nd.

Has the aged CM and Sindh Home Secretary any shame and fear of God in them. Everyday dozens of innocent lives are lost in karachi and both of them are still holding their post. Even the MQM has become a shameless party to still be part of the government.

It is simply astonishing that scores of people die everyday in Karachi and other parts of Pakistan but the politicians are busy accumulating wealth or slinging mud at each other. This is supposed to be an Islamic Republic with a democratically elected government. There is nothing Islamic or democratic about Pakistan. It is fast descending into an antiquated uncivilised society without any morals or values.

I am very sorry but what kind of news is this? One person was killed here......another person was killed there???. These men have names and families. Mothers, sisters, brothers, wives, children, they were not persons only, there were human beings. Please show some symphaty and write their names so that all of us know them and if you humanize them may be it would wake our sleeping concious up. If you dont know who they were you dont have to post the news, get the news first and then post them but in a thorough proper way.
