SWABI, Sept 7: Unidentified robbers looted three houses at daytime on Friday in Kalu Khan police station’s jurisdiction here in Razaar tehsil. The incidents occurred in congested areas of Turlandi village, police confirmed.

In Ali Khankhel mohallah the house of one Roshan Akbar was looted when there was nobody at home. Khankhel’s neighbours told this correspondent on phone that the family had gone to offer condolences for the departed soul of their relative. The robbers took away two pistols, Rs20,000 cash and seven tola gold ornaments, said the family members on their return.

In mohallah Facheerkhel unknown thieves looted Rs50,000 cash, four tola gold ornaments and other valuables from the house of a trader, Akhtar Ali. There was no one at the house at the time of robbery. Their neighbours claimed the robbers belonged to the same area because they knew that Mr Akhtar and his wife were not in the house. In another such incident in the same mohallah one Khalid Khan fell victim to robbers, who took away Rs60,000 cash and 16 tola gold from his house. The victim families have registered separate FIRs against unidentified robbers.
