DADU, Sept 8: Two brothers were killed and their friend was wounded when they were shot at by two motorcyclists on Noor-Wah Link Road near Dadu on Saturday.

The brothers, Mohammad Paryal Gadehi and Abdul Khaliq Gadehi, sons of Mohammad Laiq, and their friend, Mukhtiar Leghari, were on their way to Dadu from Noor Wah on a motorcycle. When they passed over Noor-Wah Link Road, two gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire on them, killing the brothers and leaving their friend wounded. The Dadu police took the bodies and the wounded man to the area’s civil hospital.

Dadu B Section SHO Asghar Birhamani attributed the attack to an old enmity between the Leghari and Gadehi tribes. He said that the police were ready to register cases but the victims’ relatives said that they would do it after three days.

The bodies were handed over to the family after the medico-legal formalities.
