HYDERABAD, Sept 10: Activists and supporters of Sindh Democratic Forum, Sindh Rights Watch, Indus Development Organisation, SPO, Human Rights Development Society, women Action forum, Sindh Taraqi Passand Party, SUP, Bhandar Hari Sangat and Sindh Hari Porhiyat Council on Monday protested against Sindh People’s Local Government Ordinance (SPLGO) 2012 and called for its repeal.

Led by Muzaffar Kalhoro and Punhal Sario, they said it was not ordinance but a conspiracy to divide Sindh in the first phase and to make it a country in the second phase.

They said the people of Sindh would never accept it because the dual system was aimed at holding them hostage.

They alleged that Karachi and Hyderabad were being separated from the rest of Sindh.
