New Zealand spoil Yuvraj’s return with one-run win

CHENNAI: New Zealand defeated India by one run in the second Twenty20 international at the Chidambaram stadium in Chennai on Tuesday.

India, chasing New Zealand’s 167-5, were restricted to 166-4 despite Virat Kohli’s 70 off 41 balls.

Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh bowled two overs, took a catch and scored 34 runs off 26 balls in his first international outing after being treated for cancer earlier this year.

The opening game of the two-match series, a tune-up for next week’s World Twenty20 in Sri Lanka, was washed out without a ball being bowled in Visakhapatnam on Saturday.

Unbelievable to see New Zealand dropping so many catches,even fielding looked sloppy.Not sure whether the game was fixed and planned to suit Indian betting syndicate.Who knows when BCCI is biggest syndicate of match fixers.Mind you Suresh Raina was there who last seen with match fixing lady in Sri Lanka.

Ah.. we were so close. but i am kinda glad that we lost , it will give us the necessary motivation to do good in the WC. though the loss wasnt too bad, 1 run loss in chasing huge total is not bad at all. it shatters our aura of being mentally though at the end though
