KARACHI, Sept 12: Three container vessels were berthed during last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, two more ships with bitumen and containers also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Six ships, Al-Noof, Maersk Kingston, Nedlloyd Tasman, Ananya Naree, Chem Bulk Neworlean and Akaki, were busy in loading and unloading containers, corn, chemicals and furnace oil.

A cargo volume of 83,969 tons comprising 57,933 tons of import and 26,036 tons of export was handled.
