KARACHI: Ten people were killed in incidents of firing in Karachi, DawnNews reported on Saturday.

In one incident, a man was killed when unknown assailants opened fire on him near the city’s Sohrab Goth bridge.

Separately in Karachi’s Machhar Colony, a bullet-riddled body was found, whereas, another body was found in Liaquatabad No 4.

In another incident, a man was killed in a firing incident near the Soldier Bazaar Jamaat Khana.

Furthermore, one man was killed and two injured in a firing incident in Karachi’s Model Colony. The injured were shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for treatment.

Moreover, a man seriously injured in a firing incident in Kharadar passed away soon after being shifted to a hospital.

In a separate firing incident in Ranchchore Lines, one woman was killed and two people were injured.

Two people were also shot at in the areas of PIB Colony and Ramaswami and another man was killed in the city’s Chakiwara area.

On the other hand, the Station Investigation Officer (SIO) of a police station arrested two people allegedly involved in extorting money from the fisheries’ director.

In another incident, the Anti-Car Lifting Cell (ACLC) arrested the leader of a motorcycle lifting gang and recovered weapons from him.
