PESHAWAR, Sept 16: Heavy rain on Sunday morning lashed provincial capital and other parts of the province, turning the weather pleasant.

Families rushed to parks and open places to enjoy pleasant change in the weather. They thronged Khalid Bin Waleed, Wazir Bagh, Qayyum stadium and Jinah parks to enjoy the pleasant weather.

According to Met Office, the weather of Peshawar will remain partly cloudy with chances of more rain. The monsoon currents are penetrating in upper parts of the country and a westerly wave also is affecting upper parts, which is likely to persist for next two to three days.—APP
