Utility bills

KARACHI, Sept 20: The Karachi Electric Supply Company and the Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited have extended the date for payment of the current month bills till Sept 24 in view of the officially declared public holiday on Friday. In a statement issued by the KESC, the extension has been made for all customers who have received monthly electricity bills having last date of Sept 21 for payment. Since the government has announced a public holiday on Friday, the KESC requested all banks to receive the current payable amount of such bills on Monday.—PPI
