KARACHI, Sept 24: The All Pakistan Newspapers Society has expressed serious concern over the ban imposed on Pakistani newspapers by the Afghanistan government and termed it a denial to the “People’s Right to Know”.
In a statement, the APNS said the newspapers disseminated news and views and thus strengthened relations between the people of the two countries.
The APNS has called on the Ministry of Information and the Foreign Office to take up the matter with their Afghan counterparts to get the export / sale of Pakistani newspapers restored.
