PESHAWAR: At least eight militants were killed during clashes with militants in parts of Orakzai agency on Tuesday, political authorities said.
Militants attacked security forces in Barlas area of Orakzai, triggering clashes, in which the militants were killed. One soldier was injured in the clashes, an official said.
The injured was taken to a nearby hospital. Security forces with the help of artillery attacked the militants. Weapons were recovered during a search operation following the attack.
