Man found dead

ISLAMABAD, Sept 25: A man was found dead under unexplained circumstances in his house at Khana locality here on Tuesday, police said.

After being informed by the neighbours about the incident, police reached the house and shifted the body of Akmal Amir, 33, to hospital for autopsy. Duty officer Manzoor Ahmed said the victim had sustained a wound to the middle of the scalp from where blood was oozing. The nature of the wound would be ascertained through the autopsy, he added.

The deceased’s family told the police that he had committed suicide but gave no further detail. The police said they were making efforts to establish the actual cause of the death. —Staff Reporter
