DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Sept 27: Four people were killed in two incidents here on Thursday.

Unknown assailants riding a motorcycle opened fire on Haji Ahmed Nawaz and Malak Ghulam Shabir at Kala Gorh area in the jurisdiction of Paharpur police station. Ahmed was killed on the spot while Shabir succumbed to injuries at the hospital. The accused managed to escape.

In the second incident, two wedding guests were killed in festive firing in Wanda Karim area in the jurisdiction of Panyla police station.

The incident occurred when wedding of Ismail was in progress. Some of the wedding guests opened celebratory fire. Bullets hit two people, Mohammad Ali and Hikmatullah, killing them on the spot.

The police registered case against Hameedullah and Ikram, brothers of the bridegroom, and Mohammad Saleem.
