BRUSSELS, Sept 30: The bodies of an Indian woman and her three children were found with their throats cut in their Brussels home in a grisly murder that remains unsolved, media reports said on Sunday.

The four victims, a woman of Sikh origin and her children aged three, five and seven, were found in the family’s apartment by their father Jasbir Singh on Friday after he returned home from the restaurant where he worked.

“When I turned on the lights, I saw blood everywhere,” Singh, 39, told RTL-TVI television. “I must know what happened to my children.” The Belgian judicial authorities have given no information on the progress of the investigation into the murder in the Etterbeek neighbourhood. Singh, who is from the northwestern Indian state of Punjab, was questioned by police. He has lived in Belgium for about 15 years and said he knew of no enemies, local media reported.—AFP
