QUETTA, Sept 30: Eight people, among them a local leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, were killed in two incidents in Hub town on Sunday night, police said.
Gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire at the car of Mir Qadir Zehri, killing him and his two guards, identified as Aziz and Jamal Khan. A third guard, Wali Muhammad, was injured.
Five people died and four others were injured when a jeep hit a motorbike in the town.
