LAHORE, Oct 6: Process of filing nomination papers for annual election of the Supreme Court Bar Association concluded on Saturday.
This year three candidates, Mian Israrul Haq, Ahmad Awais and Barrister Zafarullah Khan, have filed papers for the slot of bar president. As per the rotation policy, the president will be selected from Punjab this year.
More than 21,000 voters will exercise their right to vote in the election to be held on Oct 31. The final voters list will be notified on Oct 20, and the polling will be held in all provinces. — Staff Reporter
