NAWABSHAH, Oct 7: Leaders of the Jeay Sindh Quami Mahaz (JSQM) have accused the Sindh law minister of issuing directives to torture innocent party workers in the Sukkur jail.

JSQM vice-chairman Kehar Ansari and Sarfaraz Memon told Dawn in the Nawabshah Press Club that their workers protesting peacefully against the Sindh local government law had been arrested, booked in fake cases and shifted to the Sukkur jail and were being tortured.
