Fashion ComPassion is a premium ethical fashion house that represents socially responsible luxury brands in the UK. Their Mission is to give a global platform to brands and products made by skilled and creative women artisans from Palestine, Lebanon, Jordan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and India and give them an opportunity to directly contribute to the rehabilitation of these communities.

Fashion ComPassion had its first exclusive launch at Ensemble Karachi on Thursday, 11th October 2012, showcasing three Middle-East brands – Nawa, Palestyle and Sougha.

Nawa was launched in 2011 and the name comes from the Arabic word for seed. The brand works with women in the under privileged area of Haret El Naameh in Lebanon and in the Palestinian refugee camps. Nawa Clutches have a minimalistic look, geometric shape with a retro vintage feel and is made with a mixture of Nappa leather and textured water snake leather in vibrant colours.

Palestyle works with Palestinian refugee women in camps in Jordan and Lebanon. These clutches are hand-crafted using genuine Italian leathers and gold plated plaques studded with Swarovski crystals.

Sougha is a social enterprise initiative launched by The Khalifa Fund in Abu Dhabi to empower Emirati women artisans by job creation and skill training. These exquisite clutches have been created from biodegradable local leathers and embellished with ancient Talli, Badla, Shiara and Sadou weaves. Fashion ComPassion is Sougha’s first international partner selling these products exclusively in the UK and Pakistan.
