KARACHI, Oct 13: Legal proceedings remained suspended at the city courts and district courts in Malir as lawyers observed a boycott in protest against an attempt on the life of an advocate.
Hundreds of cases fixed for Saturday were put off since undertrial prisoners were not brought to the courts.
Karachi Bar Association President Mahmoodul Hasan said they observed the boycott of courts in protest against a gun attack on Advocate Waqar Naqvi.
The legal fraternity also strongly condemned the attack on Malala Yousufzai and other students, he added. —Staff Reporter
