THIS refers to problems being faced by new students enrolled in the International Islamic University, Islamabad, regarding hostel accommodation.
It has been observed that hostel rooms are not allotted to students until they reach their third or fourth semester. The students belonging to far-flung areas such as Balochistan have to face a lot of residential problems during their academic period.
Hopelessly, they have to adjust themselves in private hostels or other residential sectors which are very expensive. I request university authorities to solve the issue.
