Let’s hand it to Veena Malik for giving one of the most intelligent showbiz interviews in recent times. The gal was on a talk show on Oct 14 hosted by a senior journalist who is known to be good at grilling politicians. The anchor hurled really tough questions at Veena M and the girl responded to them in a cool-as-a-cucumber fashion. There was no googly that she didn’t smother, occasionally hit for a boundary, with confidence. It is a different thing altogether not to go along with some of her answers. What has to be acknowledged is that the girl has oodles of self-belief and is no airhead. She knows what she’s doing.
