Lady smuggler arrested

TAXILA, Oct 20: Hassanabdal police on Saturday foiled a bid to smuggle charas from Peshawar to Abbottabad, and arrested the lady smuggler identified as member of an inter-provincial gang of drug smugglers.

Police sources said during the checking of an Abbottabad-bound passenger van on Hazra Road, one kg charas was recovered from Shareefan Bibi, who was traveling with her six-year-old son.— Correspondent
