In the past, curriculum reform has been an activity mainly focused around civil society, the government being excluded from the process. But now is the time that the “twain meet” and the process move forward as it cannot be an activity limited to NGOs.
This was stated by Raza Rumi, director Jinnah Institute where a roundtable discussion was organised under the banner “Reforming the curricula: hate content in Pakistani textbooks”.
