ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Interior Rehman Malik on Tuesday said that there will be a complete ban on forcefully collecting skins of the sacrificial animals during Eid-ul-Azha by anyone specially the defunct organisations.
Speaking to media representatives, he said that strict action would be taken against those who will try to snatch sacrificial animals’ skin from the public.
The interior minister also hinted about blocking mobile services for a limited duration to avoid any untoward incident because of security risks.
Majority of general public appreciated our previous decisions of blocking mobile services during festivals wherever a threat was felt, said Malik.
He also appreciated the role of media in curbing the menace of terrorism and urged them to continue their role in this connection.
The minister added that security will be provided to the all congregations on Eid day.
