Across the country the occasion of  Eid-ul-Azha, empty grounds near  the Karachi Super Highway come alive as a temporary city of livestock, buyers and sellers, as well as people from across Karachi looking to take part is the festivities of a livestock market, emerges.

With livestock from places like Canada to Saahiwal — some of them costing lakhs of Rupees — for a brief period, the sale of cows, goats and camels translates in a beehive of activity as buyers haggle of prices and sellers proudly show-off their prized cattle. - Video by Muhammad Umar
