PARACHINAR, Oct 25: The residents of Kurram are facing shortage of chicken as its prices have increased manifold due to ban on transportation of poultry to the agency by Tal police. Tribesmen said police had stopped entry of dozens of pick-ups, mini trucks and other vehicles into lower Kurram, as a result a large number of vehicles were stranded at Tal bazaar. They said hundreds of birds had died, also incurring financial losses on traders. — Correspondent
