I would not believe a word of Mr. Malik. or another minister or the army official say. He objected to Pakistani officials making different statements in public and private.

He wants drones to stop. Also, He wants to arrest the two terrorists (Afghanis) who attacked Malala.But, He wants drones to stop killing such terrorists who attacked girls like Malala on regular basis in Afghanistan. He is against military solution to terrorism. Also, He knows that a Swat terrorist helped the afghans attack Malala. BUT, He is against military solution (in Swat or anywhere) to terrorism. He wants to give "full Security" to Malala and family. (like he gave Full Security to Bibi) The guy is either confused or speaking from his BOTH mouths.

"Malala and her family would be provided with maximum security upon their return". Isnt that same thing they promised earlier? Does this carry any weight? I would suggest Malala and her family apply for refugee status in UK and get settled there. Its too much to ask from a teenager.

Every one did not understand Malik Rehman, he is proved the best doing interior minister, completing term of assembly and govt. puttiong demovracy in right direction. Every individual is his opponent right from a political worker to the SC, still he is internal minister of Pakistan. Welldone Rehman Malik. We don't have trust on Rehman Malik's Security. But even than i will suggest Malala Yousufzai to return to her own country and Fight, everyone have to die one day but die like a Lion.

In other words. Malik Sahab is saying: "Unless US stops killing Taliban and Pakistani civilians with its drones, we (the government + military) will, insh-Allah, do nothing - we repeat, 'NOTHING', to stop Taliban killing Pakistani civilians and terrorizing women and children. But we will keep on condemning terrorism, because we are very good at it." Of course, drones must be stopped, US is violating the sovereignty of Pakistan, but Taliban are violating the writ of the government, violating the laws of the land, violating the honor of Muslim women and children, violating the principles clearly delineated in Quran-al-Hakeem, violating the sunnah of our Prophet (pbuh) without remorse, every moment and every minute in the lives of Pakistani men, women and children, with no one to raise voice on their behalf. We pray to Allah swt that the top hierarchy of military become as brave as each Pakistani foot soldier who is unafraid to face these terrorists and sacrifice his life, that the leaders of the government become as daring as the young Pakistani girl, Malala, that the religious leaders stop inviting Pakistani Muslims to the destructive path of Shaitan and follow the real sunnah of our Prophet, the path of mutaqeen and peace. Ameen.

Rehman Malik , you are jack of all trade master of none. If you had performed your duties honestly none of this would had happened.

So Malik (PPP government representative) says 1 - Drones are useless and making anti terror efforts harder 2 - America isn't winning war in Afghanistan 3 - Military operations aren't solution But all we can criticise day and night is Imran Khan, let's see how many "Shame on you Mr Malik" articles circle around and how many write an open letter to Mr Malik or Mr Zardari. I know Malik lacks credibility but point is that we have no other solution so don't sit around calling people Taliban Khan because at least they are presenting solutions and NEVER were part of the problem.

I agree with Sandip. Malala can achieve more and can be more effective from outside Pakistan. Pakistan is in the hands of most insincere politicians, like Rehman, and cannot provide proper environment for this young girl.
